Blog 54 - Who Doesn't Love A Good Midterm?

Yup, my chemistry midterm was today. I'm glad to say that thankfully this one feels like it went better than the last one (keep in mind that the last midterm I didn't really study because I was spending all my time listening and looking for the new Taylor Swift album stuff for Speak Now...yeahhhh that didn't go so well.) I made an outline starting Thursday night and then reviewed Friday and Saturday, spending most of Sunday studying all the notes and practice midterm stuff at Thompson.

Boring talk aside (not that this is much more interesting or anything like that haha) my mom called me to tell me she sent ANOTHER package! She's sending me some korean pears, which are DELICIOUS! If you've never had a korean pear, it's kind of like a mix of an apple and a pear in that the pear is crispy, fresh, and crunchier than a regular pear. It's also shaped more like an apple and is fairly large, maybe the size of a grapefruit. I'm so excited :D She says it should probably come in around Tuesday or Wednesday so that should be exciting.

Hmm...other news...not much in all honesty. Though I do have to admit that I'm pretty pumped about the Harry Potter movie!!! I'm a huge Harry Potter fan...actually winter quarter last year I was studying for my physics final but reached a point where I honestly knew I couldn't study anymore so I went online and found the ebook for the last book and spent the last hour before my test listening to Harry Potter. I'm hoping that since the movie is being split into two parts that they won't skip all the important scenes, unlike the past two movies where they've skipped so many scenes. Let's hope that this will be a great finale!

  1. I would have to agree with you that they skip so many important scenes in the past 2 movies. They didn't really even have a plot line on Kreacher in the 5th movie. As you might know, he plays a pretty big role in the beginning of the 7th book. That is just one example of an important plot that they cut out.

  2. I think it is really hard to take the midterm with my full concentration in a quarter system School. Before OSU, I was in a semester school, and between midterms you still have at least 3 weeks to do somthing else.

  3. Funny how studying helps with tests :P
But yeah, the new Harry Potter movie was wonderful, and I LOVE listening to them on tape.
