Blog 68 - Mmm Blackwell

So my roommate decided to get a party of people, mainly from our floor, to get together and go eat at the Blackwell since she has way too many swipes left over. We had the reservation at 6 and stayed until almost 8:30...! I've eaten at the Blackwell I think three other times. Once last winter quarter, once last spring quarter, and another time for breakfast with my dad when he came to visit me. Actually, the time I had breakfast with my dad there I asked if I could use swipes and turns out that Blackwell doesn't take swipes for breakfast. I think it's because not many people wake up early enough during the school week to go eat there for breakfast and use up swipes. Honestly though, that's totally fine by me since Sloopys is a great alternative (serving breakfast at anytime?! MY FAVORITE! I love breakfast...my favorite meal hands down.) Anyway, while we were eating at the Blackwell our waitress told us that the special today was a steak with crab filling in the middle...and I thought that sounded so delicious so I got the 6 oz. one and it was soooo good. I haven't had steak in over a year, and mmm medium steak is so delicious. I suppose that I head "steak" at Chipotle but that doesn't really count. Anyway I had a delicious meal (8 swipes by the way...whoa! The waitress said it cost $32...) and it was worth every single penny...er...swipe. Can't wait to go again.
